Connect your AI assistant to Licits

Licits has an MCP server and a read-only API. Connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or your own script and ask for the tenders that fit your firm. Answers come from your saved filters and the open SEAP notices.

ChatGPT

On the web, open Plugins and choose to add a custom MCP server.
Name it Licits, paste the server address above and set authentication to OAuth.
Accept the warning about custom servers, then sign in to Licits and press Allow.
Start a chat and ask, for example: Find me the best open tenders for my company.

Which plans can add a custom MCP server is decided by OpenAI and changes, so check your plan on their help page. Licits only reads, so it works with read-only access.

Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app)

Open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
Name it Licits and paste the server address above.
Click Connect. Sign in to Licits and press Allow.
Start a chat and ask, for example: Find me the best open tenders for my company.

Cursor, Claude Code and other tools

These send a key instead of signing in. Create one in Settings, under AI assistant and API. It is shown once, so copy it then.

What the assistant can do

Tool	What it does
get_my_filters	Shows your saved filters: trades, CPV codes, keywords, exclusions, capacity.
recommend_tenders	The best open tenders for your firm right now, skipping ones that close too soon to prepare.
search_tenders	Searches open tenders by words, county, CPV code, value, procedure or deadline.
get_tender	Opens one tender: description, requirements, what you meet or lack, and why it scored as it did.
upcoming_deadlines	What closes soon, by default among the tenders you are preparing or have applied to.
my_pipeline	Your board: tenders you marked as preparing, applied, rejected or ignored.

Which road works in Cluj are open, and which one fits us best?
What am I preparing, and what closes this week?
Open tender 123456 and tell me what we are missing to bid.

Limits

Each plan has a daily call limit, shared by all your keys and connected apps. It resets at 00:00 UTC. An answer holds at most 25 tenders, and you can hold up to 5 keys. In the assistant, only tool calls count, not the connection handshake.

Safety and privacy

Read only. The assistant cannot change your account, create keys, send messages or submit anything on SEAP.
It does not receive your uploaded documents, your drafts, your CUI or your contact details.
Disconnect an app or revoke a key in Settings at any time. It stops working at once.
Tender titles and texts come from third parties and can contain instructions aimed at AI. Licits marks them as data. Check what your assistant does with them.
